COL(R) Jerry Wilkins

Military:

COL(R) Jerry Wilkins initially entered the US Army as an enlisted member and subsequently attended Field Artillery OCS.  His career, which extended over thirty-two years to include Vietnam service, culminated with an active duty retirement after serving as the Chief of Staff for the Washington Army National Guard.  He is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College.  COL Wilkins has served in command and staff positions with the 81st Infantry Brigade, 96th Troop Command and the Washington State Area Command (STARC).  He has served in the branches of Field Artillery, Air Defense, Transportation and Infantry. COL Wilkins began serving in his current WSG position in December 2005.

His service awards include the Army Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with Three Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Vietnam Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal (30 Years), Army Service Ribbon, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the following state of Washington awards: Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, WAARNG Service Ribbon (30 Years), Recruiting Achievement Ribbon, and the Disaster Relief Ribbon. Also three Vietnam Counter-offensive Campaign stars and two overseas bars.

Civilian:

COL Wilkins is currently the Area Service Manager of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service in Olympia, WA. He has a degree in Business from City University and a MBA from Saint Martin’s University. He is active as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Thurston Chamber of Commerce, involved in the Hawks Prairie Rotary and is a Past-President of the national association of multiple listing services.

COL Wilkins along with his wife Cheri and her two daughters reside in Lacey, Washington.
